Mid-City District Hotels near New Orleans

"My stay was okay overall, but it didn’t really feel like a traditional hotel. The layout was more like a motel, with two floors and rooms surrounding a central courtyard. The place was clean, which I appreciated, but the room itself was very small. There was basically just a large bed in the middle with limited space around it. One thing I really didn’t like was the bathroom setup — there was no proper door, so I had to make sure curtains was fully closed for privacy. At night, there were a few issues that affected my sleep. The AC was quite noisy, and the toilet flushed on its own a couple of times, which woke me up. I was lucky my room was at the end of the corridor, because I could already hear people walking and talking — I imagine it would be much louder in other rooms. Breakfast is included, which might sound like a plus, but honestly it wasn’t a highlight for me. The utensils were all plastic, paper cups for coffee,the options felt limited and not very fresh. The coffee wasn’t great, and the fruit seemed like canned fruit, very sweet and not very appealing but overall I didn’t feel comfortable or satisfied with the breakfast, and I struggled to find something I actually wanted to eat. If you’re not very sensitive to noise or space, it might be fine for you. But personally, next time I would be more careful to choose a more traditional hotel — and I wouldn’t consider the breakfast a reason to book this place."

"Didn’t even end up getting into the hotel. I got to the hotel and called the manager to let me in, he immediately rejected the call and told me to text him. After sending him multiple texts with no reply and the same happening to other people waiting there too I cancelled my booking and found another place. Total scam don’t stay here"
