New World Makati Hotel

"An excellent hotel. The staff are attentive and helpful. A bit tacky the staff ask for online reviews but that is a very minor point. Not sure if that is the norm but we were not used to it. The lounge has limited food options but the drinks are good. The gym and pool are nice. The nearby malls have many dining options. There are several local businesses nearby not in the malls that are interesting including the museum. The executive lounge and the breakfast are good. We will definitely consider staying again."

"An excellent hotel. No complaints overall. The nearby fair does get noisy at night until about midnight from our room. But I’m sure not all rooms have that issue. Being near the Mall of Asia and the connected smaller mall gave lots of dining options. The staff were attentive though there were a lot of them all the time. The daily snacks offered were good. We will definitely consider staying again."

Dusit Thani Manila

"I enjoyed my stay. The A.Y.C.E. breakfast is the best in Makati. The room was nice, but being woken up several times throughout the middle of the night, because of loud stomping coming from above our room ceiling was quite disturbing. I did call it in and reported it to the front lobby desk, but the loud stomping continued a couple of more times afterwards. I didn't care for the strong incense smell that lingered throughout the hallways and in the main lobby. It made me feel like the hotel is trying to mask a raw sewage smell problem, because the scent is too strong that it made me nauseous. Perhaps a more suttle smell, like a light clean linen scent would work better. The pool area was beautiful, but the bar area needs to play some music in the background. It doesn't have to be loud, but play something because it just made my pool day boring. The outdoor smoking section for guests needs a few rotating fans. It's hot, humid, and with 20-30 people smoking outside in such a skinny and tiny compact area, there needs to be some comfort for your paying guests. I'm pretty sure y'all can afford to invest in a few fans to help keep your guests happy. Not every employee greeted me at the Dusit Thani Manila during our 5-day stay. The service needs help in this area. Every single employee at the Holiday Inn & Suites happily greeted me throughout the day, and I stayed there for 9-days always feeling welcomed from sun up to sun down. Fix some of these issues and I'll come back, for sure."

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient and made getting around easy. The room was a good size, and the beds and pillows were comfortable, which made our stay more relaxing. However, the walls in our room were dusty, particularly around the headboard area and the wall where the television is located. The only minor issue was the bathroom setup, as the floor became quite wet each time we used the shower, which could be improved. The breakfast was satisfactory and offered a decent selection. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which greatly enhanced our overall experience. Thank you for the excellent hospitality!"

"Grand Westside was a very nice hotel with several amenities. What was outstanding is the helpfulness of the staff in all departments and their friendliness. The pool area is well kept and outdoor food and drinks availability was great. I recommend this facility to any traveler."
