"Centrally situated, what was the Penta Hotel, the B&B Hotel has been renovated and rooms are modern and spotless. You can find some really good deals at certain times, especially if looking to enjoy the music scene on your doorstep and dates don't matter. The £7 cooked breakfast looks really good but on the two mornings we were there THE FOOD WAS ONLY WARM/COOL. Even as sausages and bacon were being replenished as we waited, it was still only warm and not enjoyable. Five stars reduced to four is unfair on all the other staff who are doing excellent work. PLEASE SERVE HOT BREAKFAST."

"3rd visit to The Palace, and again such a lovely experience. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed in the adjacent building, which was lovely with Castle view. Parking limited, but parked with ease.Spa facilities a bonus. Excellent location. Both my daughter and I now have this as our favourite hotel in Inverness."

"Not sure I understand all the rave reviews… this was place was fine. It is above a pub and on a road with thin windows and quite an old building, so it’s noisy from all angles. The bedrooms were clean and nicely styled but quite small. The bathroom was spacious and appeared newly renovated but smelled strongly of mildew. Breakfast was okay but nothing to write home about. Staff were nice and kindly left us a bottle of bubbly as it was a special occasion. "

"We were told that breakfast started at 7.30. Our train was at 7.50 so would not get breakfast. This is very poor show for a STATION hotel. Fortunately the night porter came on duty and said he would make up a take away continental package. So much more helpful that the receptionist man. We had a lovely continental breakfast on the train. But surely a station hotel should be serving breakfast from at least 7.00?"

"In a really good location but could do with a little TLC. Restaurants, bars and shops just minutes away. All in all for what we paid it was very good value."

"The room and hotel state were first class. The only issue we had was the temperature of the room. As the windows appear to be single lair glass and the very cold gale of wind was heading into the window it was hard to heat the room. This was our only problem"
