Family friendly Hotels in Merced, California

"Room smells like urine and the room furniture was really old, restroom low maintenance. I havevto request a different room and it was supper price. $322 the night a 5 star horel price but the hotel was a 2 star hotel. Never again and I will not recommen this website. "

"Check in was smooth and the staff friendly. We stayed in a king suite with a sofa bed. The room was very spacious and overall clean minus a few details with upkeep like some kind of white paint spilled on the outside of the drawers next to fridge. I loved the smart tv that was programmed to say “hello” with my name on it when we got there and allowed us to use Netflix etc. to have a movie night. The workout room was clean and there is even a water filter to refill water bottles in the hallway etc. The common room area where breakfast is served is very roomy and set up to where families can spread out and eat or play board games during the day/evening. The pool area is smaller than I expected and the hot tub was very tiny. The water was a strange murky color that made us opt out of using it. Overall, it was a pleasant stay I would definitely stay there again on a trip back to the area."

"Toilet running on & off. Broken flap in tank. Bathtub plug broken, big hole in bath mat, no wash rags, broken toilet paper holder, no drain cover in sink, alarm clock kept time but you couldn't set alarm, main room light flickered, broken lamp shade, bedside lamp had 1 of 2 light bulbs out, and floor was dirty. The only good thing was the linens were clean and there was no sign of bed bugs. "

"Paid for a two bed room only got a one bed and they gave me a handicap room no hot water and front desk was rude "

"The hotel needs major renovations to the rooms and bathrooms. Toilet didn’t flush correctly and insects were discovered in the first room assigned to me."

"Everything overall was good. The only minor thing is the blinds did not close 100% but there was a screen you could pull down to maintain privacy. Room was clean and everything else looked newly renovated compared to exterior. "
