I was coming into town very late and they were cool with checking in at midnight. They were also very accommodating with letting me do a late checkout. I’m glad the ice machine and A/C were working, this was mid to late July, super hot. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was the perfect layover to head to Yosemite the next day. Will definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area. Thank you!

My friend and I were in Merced to attend a large university graduation ceremony. As we were looking for a room with two separate beds as advertised on the website, we understood why those rooms were not available. Thank you for your efforts to accommodate our 1-night stay after a long drive from LA to Merced.

There was a mouse in our room. Changed to another room and that room did not have light bulbs in it. You could hear the train go by , znd the bed was very soft and old.

Poor, outdated conditions, our non smoking room smelled just the opposite. Dirty walls, dirty bathroom, water would not heat up. I only stayed there because it was late and had no other choice.

My stay at Pacific Express wasn't a very pleasant one. Some if the light fixtures did not work, the room did not have a microwave, and the shower flooded. I had throw towels in front of the door to stop the flow of water into the sleeping area. I personal will not use them again but you can give it a try. Your experience might be better; at least, it was clean.

Rooms was fairly new renovated no rooms on ground floor made it hard to get to the room with bad hip and knees but the most was no hot water just a semi lukewarm shower

Nothing was pleasant about this hotel. Took a hour to check in. The room was not clean. Cigarette burns all over the bedding. I do not recommend this hotel. The owners was completly rude. When i checked out i was asked not to return, i did nothing wrong except asked for my cash despoit back. Be warn and stay away from thos place
