"Loved our stay. Staff were amazing. The snorkelling was great, just as expected. Hideaway is very relaxing, quiet with few residents. Even with day trippers, it didn't seem that busy. "Our hosts/staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant 'Birdies' is just right for the location, good vibe. The food is excellent but expect the prices to reflect what you'd pay back home. The accomodation was just right for us (family: 2 adults + 1 teen), we had seperate rooms with individual ensuites. The snorkeling was amazing and reputed to be the best on the Island: lots of different corals and fish. Water was warm, even in their winter. There is another bar down the road ('the Beach Bar') which is excellent: live performances and good pizza. But note that it is a lazy 40 minute walk if you miss the bus. The hosts who own/operate this resort are passionate about supporting this country and the Nevan people - accordingly their business has our support. We both recommend to stay at this resort and would stay there again."
