Nice hotel!

Very nice stay. Good wifi. Friendly and helpful reception team that helped me organise the activities I wanted. Nice that you can take hotel’s paddle boards and kayaks around the bay!

We loved staying at the Fatumaru Lodge! It is clean; staff is friendly; and location is beautiful. Our flight was delayed to Port Villa and the hotel was understanding/checked us in late. They also helped us schedule transportation to/from the airport. We cannot wait to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Fatumaru Lodge—a perfect base for our family holiday in Vanuatu. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with cooking facilities, a proper fridge and freezer (a big plus with kids!), and plenty of room to relax. The view from our room was stunning—sparkling water by day, beautiful sunsets from the sundeck by night. It was peaceful, picturesque, and felt like our own slice of paradise. It’s also in a super convenient location—an easy walk to local cafes and restaurants, with a bus stop right outside if you want to head into town. Friendly staff, a relaxing vibe, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d absolutely recommend Fatumaru Lodge to any family visiting Port Vila!

Fatumaru Lodge exceeded our expectations! it is tucked away in a quite area off the main road, walking distance to the local shops, cafes, markets and other Port Vila must see's. The staff were always friendly, accommodating, and made us feel very at home. The resort is getting constant upgrades and you can tell a lot of work has been put into it and continues to - what was surprising was the lush and well maintained gardens around the resort - so lovely, and it was so tidy - and our view was next level, we had such a great stay and made some great memories, thank you!

It was lovely to be able to have a morning swim in the lagoon each day. An easy walk into town and multiple waterside restaurants and bars. The hotel is a great compromise of being just far enough out of town to be quiet, but still walkable.

We had a one night stay before heading to an island. Staff were very accommodating and helpful with transfers. We liked our room with a water view - very comfortable. The pool was great. We had a rate with breakfast which was ok but croissants were burnt.

Excellent stay for overnight or a few days

Great stay. Easy check in and out. Staff friendly and helpful. Well equiped room with beautiful view to lagoon. Close enough to walk into town for meals, but room is set up for self catering also. Only stayed overnight prior to flying home the next day and is convenient to airport. Resort was happy for us to check in a little earlier and also check out a bit later

Unexpectedly lovely stay.

Beautiful setting. Rooms overlook the water's edge, with a hammock on the little beach, next to a trickling stream. The pool is lovely and was kept clean. Breakfast was a delight. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff lovely. Excellent!

This was a great quiet hotel, staffs were friendly , views were great, baby sitting services were top notch, hotel arranged a dedicated person for my child and even brought her to swim in the pool! Food was nearby , no issues getting a bus right from the doorstep! Will definitely come back again! 5 stars!

Pro's A beautiful location right on the Water. All Staff from the Manager to the cleaners go out of their way to make you feel special. Nothing is a problem. Close to shops and places to eat. Con's The place could really do with a refresh and new paint and pool tiles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fatumaru Lodge. Beautiful, tranquil, peaceful, clean, and very well priced. We enjoyed the pool, the hammock near the ocean and the view from our beachfront unit a great deal. Request a top floor room for added privacy. The staff were lovely. It’s a 20 minute walk to town centre, or 150vt pp on the local bus, which you can easily hail at the front of the accommodation on the main road. Highly recommend!

Fatumaru Lodge was a wonderful safe haven in Vanuatu. We explored the island a lot including going over to Irikiri Island and Hideaway Island and each time were so much happier with our accomodation at Fatumaru Lodge. Key benefits: - very peaceful and quiet. You rarely hear staff or other guests - extremely roomy. We had the 2 bedroom and felt like it had lots of space. - very strong air conditioning - very comfy beds - great outdoor balcony for drying clothes and catching last of the sun - beautiful sunsets - the pool is the perfect temperature and very clean - the location is amazing. Easy walk to a tiny complex which has a food court massage bakery, and then walkable to Banyan Beach bar and main port villa town is about 18 mins from accomodation - staff are helpful and friendly. They helped us book taxis answer questions and never felt overbearing Our stay at Fatumaru Lodge was definitely the best part of our Vanuatu trip.

Beautiful lodge with pool and beach access

Beautiful, semi-secluded lodge still walking distance to restaurants and Port Vila central district. The decor is just right and the balcony a huge perk. Nice kitchenette too. All in all, a good place to spend a few nights. Note: the upper bedrooms have an open upper wall in the toilet/bathroom, so there is little "noise" privacy if travelling with a companion. Something to keep in mind if this is a concern for you.

Lovely stay at Fatumaru Lodge, parts bit dated as expected but all in all was ok for the price. Power problems persisted in our unit the whole visit with power going off every now and again but staff quickly reacted turning it back on. Would suspects too much of a load on the mains power. Hot water in shower was a bit of a trick to master but once you got the knack of it you could have a great shower. Would recommend asking for unit Walla which was upstairs but great private view towards Port Vila.

We have stayed at Fatumaru Lodge many times and we love it, it feels better then home. If you like to kayak or stand up paddling you have it right out your front balcony. (kayaks and stand up boards are provided free of charge) If you like to swim they have a pool just out your back door, the pool area has lots of shade and a BBQ you can use. You get beautiful view of the sunset that cover the sky in lovely colours which we look forward even night. The rooms have very large king size bed with a small kitchenet. The staff can book your airport transfers at the best price and they transfers staff will have a sign with your name on it at the airport gate. When taking a bus or taxi around town every driver knows how to get to Fatumaru Lodge. It about a 20 minute into town and you pass many bars and restaurants and long the way. We have plans to come back to Port Vila and we will be booking here again.
