Walls were dirty, there’s no PowerPoints near the bed. There’s one on the other side of the tiny room so you can’t have your phone next to you. Expensive for what it was. Only convenient as our child was having surgery across the road the next day.

Dated, tired, run down accommodation. Dull and lifeless. Tap fell off in the shower, dirty, broken spa, bedside lamp not working and capped off (in built in wall). Squeaky bed and a good gap under the door allowing light and noise from the hallway.

My son had to attend the RMH for day surgery. The Mercure North Melbourne was in convenient walking distance and was within our budget. The property our room and the staff were excellent. Thank You Mercure North Melbourne !

This is an OK hotel – rooms are standard, the establishment overall looks run down. 24 hour room service is a plus, but there were no instructions about how to access wifi.

Very noisy room that was basic with a very hard bed, threadbare carpets in the hallways, this hotel needs a major upgrade. Despite it being close to where I needed to work, I would not stay there again.

I had booked my stay some months ago as I regularly stay at the Mercure when I travel for sport. The room they 1st gave me had 3 dormitory style single beds. I complained and was given what I had requested a double bed. The Wifi didn’t always work and TV could be turned on but not off.

The variety of food choices for the buffet breakfast was very generous.(cold and hot), and lady in charge of the buffet breakfast was extremely helpful and friendly. All the staff that I encountered in reception were also friendly and helpful. The only negative experience - there were strands of dark hair in the shower/bath (I have light coloured hair).

Overall was a good 2. Nights stay what was disappointing was that the tv had STAN Netflix and all that but it wasn’t programmed to the TV… what’s the point of having it on the tv if it can’t be used… but other than that location was good walking distance from trams and practically in the middle of the city but again the tv was a let down
