"Filthy and disgusting. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Smells like damp mouldy cheese that we later found out to be the drip tray behind the fridge. It was liquid and mouldy. The toilet seat was loose and wouldn't tighten. The skirting boards were dirty and dusty. We found a mouldy sponge under the kitchen cupboard. No toilet roll. No hand wash. Mouldy bathroom. "Used this hotel for an event near the hotel. Its overlooks the coast and a few minutes walk to town. Cant fault the staff, friendly, helpful and polite. Hotel was clean. Price was reasonable. Lovely three nights away
"For some reason, we were upgraded from a standard double to a suite with a four poster bed which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are not serviced if your stay is 3 nights or less but you can place rubbish, used towels and toiletries outside your door and they will be removed and replaced. There was a large choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, cereal and cooked items all served buffet style so something for everyone. We went out each day and evening so did not have lunch or evening meal at the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and it was lovely to see the rabbits outside the window each morning and running around the grounds throughout the day. We've stayed here before and are planning to come back and bring the dog next time."
