"Really cosy and a lovely place to stay - I stayed on my own and the staff were friendly, the food was good and the room was really comfortable and spacious. The location is great as there are walks starting in Glenridding meaning you haven't got to drive anywhere and it was a quieter area. My only grumble is that it would have been nice to use the bath but it was so grubby and I didn't fancy laying in the tub."
