Ox Hotel Carlisle
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel had a few things that looked tired or needed fixing like a light on the stairs and lots of potholes in the carpark. Didn’t have breakfast. 8 Little Mell Fell
Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes.

The Halston
Our 1 bedroom apartment was gorgeous. Very spacious and the bed comfy. Only 1 criticism was the heating wasn’t on when we went in and took a while to warm up but this is personal preference really
