"If you want a hotel with a breathtaking view of Funchal, this is the place to be. The hotel people are very nice and accommodating. Note that on hot or summer days, you have to request for a table fan as there is no AC or fan in the room by default. There were some mosquitoes and fruit flys in the room but the staff sorted that out right away. The pool and clubhouse are great!"

"Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and has a great vibe to it. The food was phenomenal and I ended up eating breakfast and lunch most days at the hotel. It's in a great location too and has an awesome little swimming spot in the ocean. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe here. Very worth it to upgrade your room to an ocean view!! Would definitely come back!"

"Great property. A short walk to the marina and old Town. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and modern. Parking sucked but there is a parking garage about 400 meter walk away that costs 4.50 euro per day."
