Hotels near Margam Stones Museum

"Parking outside of the pub, limited spaces. Room and bathroom were a little dated. However very comfortable. Only complaint would be was I could hear people in the bar through the floor. Not enough to cause issues…more like someone talking loudly in the room next door noise. "

"Our rooms had a lovely ( unexpected) sea view but as I found out on arrival, most if not all rooms, (other than accessibility/disability rooms) have a shower over the bath, so it wasn’t ideal for my 84yr old mother who doesn’t require an accessible room as she doesn’t have any disabilities or restrictions per se but can’t climb into the bath to take a shower. It is very unusual for a hotel these days to have baths in every room but the hotel was fully booked for a conference so unfortunately there was no option to change rooms to an accessible room for her. The restaurant was closed for a function the night we arrived, This was a Monday night in a small seaside town at the beginning of March so I wasn’t hopeful - but we found 3 great places to eat within a few mins walk. A really lovely seaside cafe/restaurant, an Indian and an American/Mexican type restaurant. The hotel was clean, staff were lovely and it was ideal for our stay. Don’t be put off by the 1970’s exterior. We didn’t go further than the seafront so not sure about a ‘town’ but there are retail parks nearby. "
