"I landed in Manila around 1pm and was quite exhausted from our flight. When we got to our hotel, security was quite strict. They checked our taxi’s credentials, checked the trunk and even under the car. You also must go through a metal detector walking into the hotel. At first, it’s a bit off putting since we just came from about 3 different airports so doing yet another metal detector and running our bags through felt a little much however, we felt very safe overall. The hotel is beautiful. I didnt use the pool but the pool and bar looked very nice. Staff were kind and helpful. The only thing I wish the hotel would offer since they’re so near the airport is a shuttle service for airport pick up/drop off. I would stay here again especially when you only have a night or two and need to get to the airport quickly. "
