"We came expecting to walk a distance to the main shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised the unit is just in the heart of the Hongdae area. The rooms are clean, and even had a welcome basket with snacks in it. The owner is very nice and replied to my queries very fast. The bathrooms come equipped with most necessities less toothbrush but we brought our own. There is a total of 3 queen size beds and one sofa bed. Comes with a kitchen and dining area with fridge, microwave and pots for cooking...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. The host was nice and helpfull. The location is good with a lot of shopping/food close by, and a short walk to hongik univ. metro stop. The beds were not the best, therefore the 4 stars. Be mindfull there are stairs and no escelator"

Rooms are basic, but nice with complementary charger and fridge, if you just need a place to test during your sightseeing this is a great spot.
Communal area is cozy and has plenty of offerings for a quick morning snack and breakfast before you head out.
Access is by code, host greets and gets you squared away quickly.

"Clean and great location just a 5 minute walk from Hongik University station. Bonus…it is on the airport line and for a mere 5500 won for the fast train to terminals 1 and 2 to/from Incheon
Airport, and Gimpo airport is a stop as well.
The 1 Line is a straight line to Jamsil and Lotte Tower and popular stops in central Seoul. Shopping on Honguate is just about 5/10 minute walk. Olive Young store for a comprehensive selection of Korean skincare is super close as well to the Daol Guesthouse....
