"The Long Creel Hotel changed from being a Hampton Inn last summer. It was sold to a different chain. The hotel had clean rooms, an excellent staff, a pool, and an exercise room. It also had a continental breakfast. The hotel is supposed to be remodeled in 2026 and will include a bar. A nice place close to the Maine Mall. Very reasonable price to stay during the off season. "

"Inn at St John remains a budget friendly stay, with an emphasis on "friendly". The rooms are clean and quaint and every room is an adventure. We have stayed here more than 15 times and we love getting a different room, and sometimes finding that we have been a room before. Always an adventure. They also offer a complimentary breakfast that provides the essentials to get your day started. Oh, let's not forget the FREE parking.
