"Excellent breakfast option for eggs or tasty fresh yogurt. One day out of four they strangely neglected to clean the room, even with a door sign requesting service, but the night front desk person took it upon herself to do so when we noted the problem after returning around dinner time. She’s a gem. Showers were excellent. Rooms were reasonably sized too. Request a third floor if you don’t like the sound of people above your room walking around as the hardwood floors amplify this. Overall, a nice stay and we’d return if we could get a top floor. Ideally room for 301. "

"Late arrival from flight nice check in, no parking spaces so had to park along a curb. Door to room hinge was out of door frame, so hard to close. Not sure why this wasn’t repaired clearly very damaged. Staff is pleasant and efficient. "

"The lobby was under renovation so it was a bit of a mess. Parking very easy but expensive at 45 dollars a night given the cost of the room oer night. The biggest surprise was no housekeeping during the day to replace towels etc. We were told not housekeeping on weekends and we just needed to ask for more towels. Overall, good location."

"I had a wonderful stay at Portland Harbor Hotel and would absolutely recommend it! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old Port, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy yet upscale feel. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor courtyard—it’s such a relaxing spot to unwind after a day exploring Portland. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Maine!"
