The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean. Location was absolutely perfect, literally in front of the Royal palace, plenty of places to eat. My only complaint is that the breakfast is not included in the price and you have like 3 options.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, and I really appreciated that my room was ready before check-in since I arrived early in the morning. The room was clean, well-organized, and I loved the thoughtful touches like the coffee and the items in the fridge. Even though I only stayed for two nights, I truly enjoyed my time. The location is amazing—so close to everything! Check-out was quick and easy, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely love to come back, this time with my family :)

Lovely little “affordable” (as far as Madrid prices are concerned) hostal in the middle of Madrid in a really nice neighborhood with lotanof cafes and restaurants nearby. The taxi I took frim airport could not find the street as it is a pedestrian street mostly but if you book the taxi to airport via the hotel, the taxi can stop right in front of the hostal and costs 33 euros which is the set fee for an airport transfer. The door to the hostal is not obvious - there is a small sign right besides a big brown door right in front of a café. You enter the door, then turn right, up ancouple of steps to a lift, then to the first floor where the reception is. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. I opted for the cheaper room that was at the top on the 6th floor. It said “bathroom accessible via stairs”. What this means is that it was accessible via a ladder! A little bit unsafe for me to pee at night. It felt a bit like cinderella’s tower. A small single bed. A closet. It was all clean and in good order. I just do wonder how they are able to clean that bathroom! The cleaner deserves a raise for that. Overall I really liked the hotel and would stay again. I know the other double rooms are very spacious.

Perfect location and great staff.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right across the road from the royal palace and a metro station just round the corner. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very happy with my stay here and if I was to return to Madrid for another holiday I would be more than happy to stay here again.
