The welcome on arrival by lovely reception staff, tasteful decor and offer of complementary glass of fizz or water was a nice touch. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom and the large outdoor, private terrace was a real boon given we were so central on Gran Via. We also approved of the comfortable beds with choice of pillows, the fact that the room had a kettle and a coffee machine was great. The room was amazingly quiet given the location too. The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. All the staff were very efficient, friendly and polite. Gonzalo, possibly the younger member of staff was also a great asset - he was keen to learn, polite and respectful and nothing was too much trouble. A great addition to a lovely team. We would definitely choose this hotel if or when we return to Madrid

I was originally booked to stay 2 nights, and found the location ideal to all the places of attractions and tons of restaurants in the streets around. A special shout out to the front desk staff. They were always friendly and helpful. Especially when I had to extend my stay to a third night at the last minute - I approached them at midnight and they were so helpful and efficient in finding me a room. I will definitely stay with H10 Villa de Reina whenever I’m in Madrid.

The room was small & smelled musty. The AC did not work so we opened the balcony door in order to let some cool air in to sleep. The noise from the street was loud so eventually we shut the door & slept well after that. No wash cloths were provided (they were at the H10 in Barcelona). The lobby & breakfast area restrooms were out of toilet paper on two occasions. Staff was helpful & friendly but did not take my credit card at check-in so we were not able to charge to our room at the bar which was strange. Great walkable location and beautiful lobby. Excellent breakfast.
