"Staff is friendly and accommodating. Lobby is well designed and smells strongly of fragrance. The hallways of the rooms definitely had a musky smell to them unfortunately. I didnโ€™t really enjoy how my room looked like - their rooms definitely could use a style update. Some of the finishes in my bathroom were loose and flimsy. I had a city view and it was okay - pretty boring to look at during the day but it gets pretty at night when the lights of the other buildings nearby turn on. Breakfast on the 6th floor was filling. Itโ€™s a buffet style and they have various options to help you get started with your day exploring Macau. Location wise - itโ€™s pretty walkable to restaurants and shops. Senado Square is less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. While I enjoyed the hospitality of the staff of this hotel, Iโ€™d probably look into other places first before coming back. The price you pay for one night is just not really worth it for what you get!"

"The Mandarin Oriental Macau is one of the best hotels Iโ€™ve stayed in, in all my travels. From the moment you arrive at the lobby door till the moment you step out after check out, you are treated with so much hospitality and a lot of welcoming smiles. The room was immaculate, tons of amenities and a great mini bar. Pool is very nice to lounge around on a hot day. Would absolutely recommend the Mandarin Oriental to anyone."
