"Our stay in Lucca at the Residenza FillAnfi exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host, Valentina who provided a great overview of the city and personally escorted us to our rooms. Her warmth and exuberance put us in a great frame of mind to begin our stay. We were in the Il Duomo room, which had ample space for all of our things and still leave plenty of room to walk around. The bathroom area was also large - the entire room was just very comfortable. There is a separate area near the rooms for guests to get coffee, cold filtered water, and snacks, which was very convenient To get from entry area on street level to your room you have to walk up a couple of flights of stairs - which should be noted if you have to carry multiple pieces of luggage - and there are other rooms in the same building that are not associated with the FillAnfi. Just look for the signs on the doors to get you to the appropriate place. The building is located in a great area, just around the corner from the main amphitheater in Lucca, which is a great spot for dining, gelato, or just hanging out. Also, FillAnfi is on Via Fillungo, which is one of the main shopping areas in Lucca - a small cobblestoned street with a great variety of shops on both sides. Lucca is a wonderful place to visit, and I highly recommend the Residenza FillAnfi as a place to stay."

"The Palazzo is in an excellent location in the heart of old Lucca, one of my favourite cities on our trip. It was wonderful to stay in such a historical residence with beautiful frescoes in the breakfast room. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, cereal, yogurt and cut up melons and pineapple. I highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future!"

"This is a wonderful experience just like living in luca. Although the entryway is dark when you open the door once you hit the light switch it is easy up to the first floor. There is a reception room and all of the apartments are off that room. The owner supply coffee and drinking water. Conveniently you can purchase beer wine and other things that they stock in the refrigerator. The owner communicates very well in English. We will be returning to Luca only because they made us feel so at home"
