10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel only 50 yards from Glasgow Queen Street Station (and 10 minute walk to Glasgow Central). Nice and friendly staff at reception, where I was able to leave my case in the morning whilst I enjoyed a day out. Nice big room with lovely firm mattress for a good nights sleep. Good aircon which was a must in this weather, and free minibar. Great shower. Good breakfast choice in the morning and with a view over the city. Next to Buchanan Street and the main shopping area but nice and quiet. Very good value for money."

"We stayed three nights, the room was very clean and had a cozy feel, underbed lighting helps if you need to get up during the night for the nessaceries. There was a decent selection of small plates or larger for eats, if you prefer. We also paid for breakfast which is a buffet style (fill your boots) and we enjoyed all of our breakfasts. There is also a decent selection of bakery items such as crossiants and pain au chocolate. Staff were attentive and although we stayed during a quiet period of the Hydeo on the run up to the commonwealth games, I would imagine it gets very busy as it's literally next door. There is a multistory car park next to the Moxy SEC and we never paid more than £12 per 24hr period (if you leave the car there), although you need to have your ticket scanned by hotel staff to get their discounted rate. Just say we have a ticket for the car park next door, and they will understand There is also a train station very close by. Overall a very pleasant stay, we would 100% go back."

"Loved this hotel. Excellent location. Cute touches, tablet offered on check in. Very spacious communal areas. Bar on ground and restaurant on top floor fantastic. Sadly, due to weather, we didn't get a chance to try the roof terrace. Rooms were great, comfortable bed, great shower. Will definitely book again."
