The convenient walk to the mountain is really the biggest selling point. "It was peek autumn color change season so I imagine the price was jacked pretty high. Compared to area properties I guess the price was ok. Good things: shower / pillows / location. Not so good: furniture - couldn’t get drawers open / linens very old / paper thin walls - I could hear EVERYTHING in the next room / looks like improvements have been made in this older motel - just struggled with what is was for the price - I always research hotels.com comments before I book - not sure what a lot of their ratings are based off of. It was clean but I wasn’t thrilled when I saw it and realized I’d booked it for 5 days. I mostly used the room to shower and sleep which were pleasant."

"From the outside, the motel appears to be very old and rundown, but it was recently remodeled on the inside with new tile, toilet, sinks and carpet. Plenty of room in the room as well as refrigerator and microwave. Free coffee at the office; the staff (a young couple whom our new owners) were very accommodating, giving excellent recommendations for food. The surrounding motels were twice the price, but this was totally worth it! Great location!"
