"Having stayed in the Holiday Inn Darlington the previous night and having a terrible experience I was worried about what I would find at the Holiday Inn. Any concerns disappeared on entering. The hotel foyer was inviting, the reception staff professional, welcoming and friendly. The bedroom was immaculately clean, well furnished and inviting. The restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and in comparing with Darlington the quality of the ingredients and production of the meals were very good. The range of food at breakfast was again excellent. Overall the experiece could not be faulted."

"Overall very impressed with Cotswolds Hotel & Spa. Booked a family room and although it was not made up for 4 people when we arrived, it was quickly resolved. The room was very hot, even with windows open but they had provided a fan. 3 out of four of us paid for breakfast. The fourth person only wanted a filter coffee. Think they could have thrown that in free of charge as 3 were paying full price, but that is only a nice to have."

"A lovely hotel in a great location. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dinner in the sky restaurant was very good and good value. I am only sorry that I did not have time to use the pool and spa. We will be back!"
