Our room was excellent a standard twin with two big double beds, the room was super clean. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool. The staff work so hard and are a credit to the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. The reception was a lovely smell when you arrive. The only thing which was disappointing was the horrendous smell in the ladies toilets in the lobby. X"

"Well communicated contactless check in, beautiful property and rooms, cute little town, and the breakfast was good! Coffee was great, Charlie makes a great flat white! Parking can be a little bit of a nuisance, and like many historical properties no elevator so if you need help with your luggage plan ahead as the property is not always staffed. Lovely. Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option - in walking distance of the property."

"Our room ( number 3) was on the small side and our bathroom was tiny with an old fashioned fixed shower. The wash hand basin so small that it was impossible to fill our room kettle directly from the cold tap. I had to fill the kettle from a water glass. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy. There were no curtains on our window just a blind. My cooked breakfast was excellent and service was friendly if somewhat haphazard. Hotel grounds were impressive."
