lovely place.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable and heating easily controlled which was great. Food good both at breakfast and dinner with Christmas dinner excellent.

Was there for a very quick nights rest driving from Portrush to Dublin. It was fine…the TV didn’t work. The heater was either stuck on or something because we were baking…but the window opened to help. Breakfast was good.

We'll be back

Lovely hotel, just outside newry centre. Staff were fantastic, rooms comfortable and spotless. We ate dinner in the bar and had breakfast the following morning, the choices on each menu were many, we'd go back for the food alone. Plenty of parking.

Are room was at the front which is near a busy roundabout. If you need quiet to sleep i would book a room at the back of the hotel but other than that it was excellant!! Food, service, staff were all wonderful and very helpful and friendly!!

Great staff

Nice hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. Food was good. Only issue was the live entertainment on the Saturday night. I can only describe him as Dire Straits without the Straits…😂 I would recommend the Mourne Country Hotel if you’re looking to stay in or near Newry.

My stay at Mourne county

I spent 2 nights and 3 days and it was a pleasant experience. All the staff members rightfrom reception were very warm and welcoming. I ll specially like to appreciate Roselyn and her male colleague at breakfast time, they were very warm, kindly and friendly. They went the extra mile to make my aged parents comfortable at breakfast time. Thank u and well done Roselyn
