"Nice stay"

"Stayed in a standard room without kitchen. The room was clean but dated. Slow shower drain not unusual in an older building. Unfortunately the AC unit could not keep up with the evening spring heat. I told them about the problem, the following morning and they fixed it that morning. Overall not a bad experience and good value, 2 blocks from White House."

"If you have stayed at a Citizen M hotel in the past, none of this should surprise you. If you have not, please keep reading. This is basically a bedroom only hotel. The rooms are small. The shower/toilet room is the size of a cruise ship toilet room. The rainfall shower head had mediocre water pressure. Hand-held shower head had to be held together or else the water did not flow into the head. Hot water temperature in the shower was at a set temp of 100 degrees. I gave up on using conditioner on my hair after the second day due to the pressure temperature. There were no paper cups to use for a drink of water or to brush your teeth. Ice is only available at the bar, not on the floors of the hotel. The lobby doesn't provide free coffee or even water. Which made not having cups in the room even worse. My biggest pet peeve in a hotel is to only provide 2 bath towels per room. Most female guests use 2 towels (one for hair, one for body), while many male guests also use 2. You guessed it, this room had only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. When we got back to our room after a long day, we noticed the hand towels had not been replaced. I asked at the lobby, I was told they had run out due to "the hotel being too full". He did say he could give me 2 wash cloths. I said great, as there were none in our room upon arrival. He told me, "Oh we don't provide washcloths in the rooms". Grocery store and CVS are close, but both had armed security guards at the entrances."

"The breakfast was really nice and well worth it. I do wish we had had a microwave in the room so that we could have reheated any leftovers that we had but it was clean and well maintained and the front desktop was excellent."

"We almost always stay at the Morrison Clark Inn whenever we are in DC in part because we have found it a very comfortable and luxurious place to stay, but also because of its history, its great people on staff, its delicious restaurant menu close to other great restaurants, and its location in downtown DC close to museums, the Convention Center, etc. We couldn’t ask for more."

"Very clean spacious rooms, breakfast good but limited items (mini omelets, bread, muffins, cereal, yogurt, French toast sticks) no fresh fruits or meat. Air conditioner very efficient. Staff was accommodating to us with an early check in so we could leave to our plans for the day."

" This hotel was amazing. The staff was outstanding. The bar is exquisite. The room was amazing and I would come back here and stay any day of the week. Highly recommended."
