Super new hotel set at the foot of mountainous rainforest which then backs up onto a private soft sandy beach. Isolated location with only another hotel and cable cars nearby. I walked to the langkawi cable cars (also has a few food shops and restaurants) and it took about 5mins. For everything else you will need a car/taxi. Chenang street (shopping/food) is 20 mins and costs us 20MR(£4) each way using Grab App. Location and hotel are beautiful. Hotel room, breakfast, diner and staff service were all better than we had expected. Please note, it randomly rains in langkawi. Hilton have plenty of umbrella's around the building but I would recommend packing a lightweight waterproof jacket... and yes I did carry on swimming in the rain, both in the sea and pool.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Burau Bay Resort. Hotel staffs are super attentive and friendly. It’s extremely healing to take a morning walk at the grand lawn and the beach. Thank you for the hospitality!

Hilton Langkawi is a beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings, with well-maintained grounds that make for a relaxing stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the property. Service throughout our stay was extremely slow, and the overall standard of customer care was disappointing. The staff appeared to need more training, as there was a lack of attentiveness and efficiency. With improvements to service and better staff training, this hotel has the potential to offer an outstanding guest experience to match its beautiful location.
