"The room was very nice. The only complaint is that the tub was not as clean and the function of the stopper for a bath is complicated. I had to use a tweezer to get it unstuck so that the water can drain while I showered. The parking garage is very tight and lots of damaged concrete so be careful turning the corners and walking to the elevator/stairs. I love the restaurants provided and walking to other restaurants/shops. We had a bite to eat downstairs and the portion was nice size and the bar served a really good drink.I really wanted to check out the gym but it was under renovation at the time of our stay.
The staff was very friendly and overall I really enjoyed the stay and will definitely return. I highly recommend!"
"HVAC system was messed up in the room and facility was at capacity. They did not have maintenance available at the time. The front desk offered a voucher for parking. Overall, experience with fine despite the maintenance issue."
"Cleanest hotel we have ever been at! I didn't realize dinner was included with the stay, great option for families, pool was large, and many other kid-friendly amenities. When we go back to Cleveland, we will definitely be staying there again."
"Location is perfect for if you are going to the Cavs or Guardians game. Easy walk to Jack casino, food and bars. The hotel was ok. Room was not clean. Floors were filthy. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. Toilet was disgusting and still had someone’s dirt on the toilet seat. The shower door was hanging off and not secured. Would take my chances trying to get a Uber in and out of downtown before staying here ever again"
"Do not pay for this facility. It is not worth the money. It clearly photographs well. But when you get there, you're welcome by the smell of what I'm assuming is mold. Very underwhelming experience. Quite a letdown. The room was dirty, multiple stains everywhere, including the sheeting we're supposed to sleep on. The shocker is how the towel rack fell apart as we were taken off a towel. It was barely hanging and closet door handles were swinging and broken. Human hair was stuck to the walls of the shower.
Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Again, I would expect this at a motel, not a hotel this level. And certainly not for the ticket price that we paid.
Will not repeat this experience again.
If this review allows for photos, I will upload them"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Airport West
8/10 Good
"This was a good hotel. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the temperature control was great. Often times in hotels we spend the evenings trying to adjust the temperature since it seems to fluctuate between too cool and uncomfortably warm no matter what the themostate is set on. This wasn't a problem here. the temperature stayed where we set it the whole 4 days we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the ones at the desk to the ones cleaning the rooms. Everyone made us feel very welcome. I'm sorry I don't remember their names but I have a hard time reading names tags and sometimes they aren't wearing any.
There was a few minor issues the kept me from giving this hotel 5 stars. But I stress these were minor things and wouldn't keep us from staying there again. There was no black out curtains so the room wasn't very dark at night. There was no channel guide for the televison which is annoying since we spent a lot of time flipping through channels without knowing what they were trying to find something to watch. A channel guide seems like something that should be provided and it wouldn't take a lot of effort or expense to have one availableand it makes a stay less irrating. The sink was slow to drainbut wasn't a seriuos problem. The only fault with breakfast was no fruit available."
