Lovely spot, right by the river, walking distance ( fairly level)to Windermere Lake and boats etc. Eating places also within walking distance, plenty others short drive away( Anglers Arms, Masons Arms). Bus stop very handy if needed.

The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.

"Had a fabulous 5 days here. Staff were very attentive and professional at all times. Rooms clean and food, both breakfast and at dinner was extremely good. Only criticism was the wifi in the room we had which overlooked the lake was very very poor. "
