"There were only two highlights to this resort. The pool is very nice with a poolside bar and you can order food. No hot tub though. The casino offers a buffet restaurant and there is plenty to choose from at $25pp. The rest of this resort is poor. They say smoking and non smoking areas in the casino but the casino is one big room and smoke is everywhere. The rooms are a basic hotel room with paper thin walls. You hear everything and I mean everything going on in the hallway and the room next to you. There is nothing to do in this area. You have to travel at least an hour to find something to kill at least an hour of adventure. I would not recommend staying here or anywhere within a couple hours of this place. Maybe travel much further west beyond Scranton. "

"We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. Upon arriving it felt a bit run down overall. We entered our room on the second floor of the carriage house. It was small but quaint and what we needed. We had some difficulties with the heat the first night. We woke up freezing so we turned on our in room electric fireplace and then it was overly hot. Unfortunately there was no thermostat or way to control the temp in our room. The towels provided were very small, the shower head in the shower was somewhat broken and kept aiming the water at our feet when showering. The radiators heat made a ton of loud banging sounds at night that woke us up both nights. Most disappointing is that there is no one on staff to greet you, and the freshly made breakfast we thought we would be getting at a bed and breakfast was a self serve bar in the main house with yogurt, prepackaged cakes and bagels, bananas that were not ripe, cereal cups with milk and a fridge with microwaveable breakfast items that were frozen from jimmy deans. It left much to be desired. It sounds like it used to be much better with the previous owners. I would recommend looking into another bed and breakfast in the area even if it is a bit more expensive as you will get a better experience as we paid to go out to"

"Such a lovely stay and overall experience — definitely one I’d repeat. If you’re visiting in winter, there are a few things to keep in mind: make sure to read all the information they provide. If you plan to use the jacuzzi, start heating it as soon as you arrive so you can really enjoy it; same with the sauna. I think I’d even pay a bit extra if the heating were electric, but honestly, if you have the right attitude, lighting it yourself becomes part of the fun and the experience. I originally booked just one night and ended up extending my stay because the place is beautiful. Bring plenty of matches or lighters, and dress very warmly. Inside, they offer three options to keep you warm, so that’s not an issue — but being outside can be cold. The storage space is very spacious and can really come in handy."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Frog 🐸 Town Inn. My Wife & I only stay one evening and enjoyed a peaceful and quiet nights rest in the most comfortable bed! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and will be back another time to try the dinner at the restaurant Butter. This was especially special to me to be here because my grandfather use to own this inn many years ago when I was a boy. To be inside again and walk the property, the memories just came right back. We Loved the owners Mark and Carol! So very nice and accommodating!!!! We highly recommended staying here and will be back again!!! "

"I have never complained about a vacation stay before but this one was by far the worst. I am 3 hours away from the property and a half hour before we got there was called and told the one it took me an hour online to find the perfect one had plumbing issues and was not available. I was given a choice between two others (no refund available) so thought I picked the better of the two, it was not. The only person I was able to have contact with was the property administrator whom I asked several times how to contact my host, I was never given a host and the administrator was based on the other side of the country. When we arrived the house temp was at 40 degrees took hours to warm up so wanted to leave for a couple of hours and return when it was warmed up. There is a keypad to enter and exit and was never informed on how to lock it to leave we couldn’t figure it out called the administrator who told us she will look into it and NEVER got back to me. After a very long time we figured it out. The screen door was broken and banged super loud against the deck railing all night long every night ( three nights). We also couldn’t get the tv to work also no help there. The fridge was stocked with condiments with a jar of spaghetti sauce that was filled with mold, so wasn’t attempting to use anything else in there. Our original property had a hot tub bought our suits, couldn’t get another with a hot tub was told they don’t open them in the winter anyway WHAT!!!"
