We had such a great time. The cottage was cozy, warm and private. The fireplace was romantic for our valentines weekend. The pond was very nice to hear the sound of the river. Communication with the staff was easy and the respond very quickly with any information we needed. We will be back with the whole family in the summer. We highly recommend the cottage. Ty

The bridge cottage was adequate as far as kitchenware. Plenty of dishes pots pans etc…The area was quiet and peaceful but I have to comment about the musty dank odor that we experienced for three days. I believe the majority of it was coming from the couch which we refused to sit on. This really put a damper on our stay. Recommend a thorough cleaning or new furniture.

Received nothing for my money.

Stayed here for the holiday weekend. The staff were nice and helpful. The cottage was in need of extreme updating and cleaning. The windows would not stay open they just kept falling down when I tried to open them. The water pressure sucked. The cottage was not well cleaned upon my arrival, although each guest is required to pay a cleaning fee as part of their stay. Which mentioning the cleaning fee, I was charged a cleaning fee even though no one did any cleaning during my stay or before my stay. Also, I was required to take my own garbage out to the garbage bin and also, I was required to remove my bedding and leave it in the middle of the bed upon my exit of the property. They don't offer any housekeeping, so I am confused why I was charged a cleaning fee for my stay, even though I was required to do my own cleaning. They also had nerve enough to leave an envelope for maid service tip, even though I was the maid of my own cottage. They also charge you for linens and don't provide fresh ones. The only thing you get with your room that is complimentary is flat pillows and unwashed blanket, dishes that are really old and look like they were purchased from lawn sales, which reminds me you have to wash your own dishes before you leave even though I paid a cleaning fee. The staff were nice but eveything else was not good. Would not stay here again because, you get overcharged and don't receive anything for your money. If I wanted to be my own maid I would have stayed home.

Quick trip to pocanos

Quick stay in Poconos. Family reunion in the area. Cabin was small and nice. Owner very nice and helpful and attentive pet friendly so we brought our dog.

A very pleasant stay. I would describe the condition of our cottage as well lived in, but reasonably so. We enjoyed the water view from our screened in porch and wish we had time to also enjoy the firepit next to our cottage. We will surely consider staying here again in the future 🙂

It was very clean! It was an older cottage but it appeared they were updating it. There is a kitchen but there was no dish detergent. But, yes. I would stay there again.

Overall it was great time close to all things we wanted to do and there is a wawa about 2 miles up the road... my only gripe is soon as it got dark all the loud muffler cars came out and seemed to race back and forth down the roads...

We are pretty easy going people, but unfortunately our stay just fell short all the way around. When we arrived, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and items leftover from the previous person under the beds. One of the windows wouldn’t shut all the way in the bedroom, the back door would not close all the way, which made for a freezing night. One space heater was provided. When I informed the owner about these, his response was to “come back in the spring.” Also for the price, bed linens and towels should be included.

Fantastic place

I had a great time at Echo Valley. My cabin was clean and quiet. I love the amenities in the property as well. The place is conveniently located near shops, and restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax.

Terribly dirty

We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked here because it was dog friendly. However when we arrived and the owner saw a dog he said there was an additional $25 fee. After booking we also received an email saying that there was an additional $25 fee for towels and linens. Thank goodness we decided to bring our own towels and linens. The cottage was absolutely filthy.There were literally mouse droppings around the cottage and ants in the bathroom and kitchen. I sat down at the kitchen table and stuck to the chair.The grounds Outside of the cottage were very nice and the pool area also looked very nice although we didn’t have a chance to go swimming. It really is a shame that the cottage itself was so filthy Because this could’ve been a very nice stay.

Great cozy place
