"The room, upon entering, was 59° and felt frigid. Had to turn the heat on. The curtains were in disrepair — shredding sheers and blackout drapes. The bathroom sink was clogged. No lotion. One place setting of utensils. Breakfast had spoons only. No eggs or oatmeal or waffles available. Grits were thick. Egg omelets came out later."

"Friendly staff from valet to reception to housekeeping. Room was clean but bathroom sink needs new grout. Would definitely stay again."

"Everything about our stay was good including the check-in, room cleanliness, breakfast and staff. The problem came after we checked out. We left our hanging clothes in the closet. Our fault entirely. We checked-out Sunday morning but were still in the hotel visiting with friends until about 4:00 PM. We realized on Monday evening that we had left our clothes and called the hotel. The front desk had a log that said clothes were left in our room but no other information because housekeeping had possession of the clothes. They made no attempt to contact us either that Sunday or subsequently because there are no provisions to do that; a guest must contact them. This was confirmed with a manager. How is that good customer service? You know that items were left, where they were left and how to contact the guest who stayed in that room and do not contact the guest or ever plan to. Took a 5 star experience and turned it into a one star stay."

"Rooms are clean bed so so. Strange that toilet seat was not secure, wobbled all over. Hotel did not offer breakfast like many do though they did have grill that you could purchase a breakfast- nearby donut place cheaper and for me better food. Place is right off the interstate so where we were you could hear traffic quite well- have stayed at other hotels similarly positioned and did not hear traffic. "

"The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is good for easy access to restaurants, mall, hospital, and interstate without feeling in the middle of a city."

"We have been here before while in the area 12 years ago and still had the same level of service this past weekend. Great attention to detail with rooms and the bar is always a nice bonus. Of course lower drink prices would always be appreciated for guests 😬 However the staff makes it worth it! "

"We enjoy the cottages here. It’s convenient for us when we visit my college kid. Check in is easy, casino is nearby, cottages are clean, close to plenty of dining and shopping. Just note to self next time to bring an iron if you are one to iron your clothes. I guess RV goers may bring their own, makes sense. I think this will be a go to place if we don’t want the hotels stays. Maybe next time…we can actually bring our camper."
