The entire Lake George Area is a throwback to quaint vacation areas. There's not a lot of BIG hotels, lights, noise. It is OG ...family run hotels and motels that have been well kept for the last half century. Beautiful lake surroundings too!

Quiet little village that is alway busy with tourists and locals. Amazing views, tons to do, and there's always an event or fair going on in the busy season. So many different foods and activities will keep you busy for a week or two.

Great place to visit, lots of little shops, both upscale and discount types. Fast food and sit-down dining g could use a couple dessert type places. Fun family place, and yes, lots of kids. Like others of its ilk, parking is always an issue.

It was 4th of July weekend so it was extremely crowded. Some food establishments could have been better staffed. The fireworks display was beautiful over the lake.
"Only disappointing thing was, the A/C
It sticks out on the balcony side that faces the lake. When it's runny you can't enjoy sitting outside because the heat and noise from the A/C. Of its already in the upper 80's to low90's. It's too hot. Otherwise it was great."
"Cute place to stop on road trip to see Lake George. Family oriented. Felt like stepping back in time in an old motel but super clean. Right on lake, easy walk to town. "
"Bed was almost like sleeping on a brick but everything else was amazing from check-in till the time we left. Everything was perfect and an amazing nigh stay. "
