The front door man overheard I may have had a medical emergency during my stay and took a moment to personally relay to me information regarding the doctor who is on call for the hotel, and also relayed the message to the general manager, who reached out and offered assistance and personal contact info. The service was exceptional, above and beyond, and reassured me."

"The staff is amazing at this resort! It is beautiful as well. We loved our koala buddy right outside our room’s windows. Being able to get in and out of the zoo anytime we wanted was a great park as was the free sanctuary tour. We had one evening. We also enjoyed an early morning tour that was included – the guides are super knowledgeable, interesting and friendly. Breakfast is lovely in the.Mi Gal restaurant with lots of variety. Coffees tended to be not as hot as we liked, but when we asked if they could make them hotter, they did and were great. The view is wonderful and a great start to a day of adventures. Dinner options are only at this restaurant – it is beautiful and the food was not bad but not as great as we had read them to be. We had fabulous meals all over Australia so I do feel like we had plenty of comparison. There is room service, but the menu is limited. It is nice to eat lunch in the lobby area from the small bar there looking at over the harbor the hamburger and chicken burger we had were quite good. It is easy to walk up to the bus stop and catch the shuttle down to the ferry stop. The ferry goes straight across the harbor to circular quay. We did go to a play at the Opera House one evening – do you know that you will have to catch the bus to get back to the resort as the ferry will not be running once it’s dark. The bus took almost an hour to get back. Taranga is the last stop it appears! "

"The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful, customer service at its best. The room was dated but clean enough, bed was soft but clean, toiletries provided were nice. Our room was on the main road which is noisy, ear plugs fixed that. Had everything we needed for long weekend. Bus to city and zoo right outside, convenient spot."

"Excellent stay. Checkin staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but functional for a 3 day stay. My only criticism is the shower overflowed onto the floor each time we used it. But that is more of a design issue than anything. It didnt impact us at all. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of options. Great location. Will stay again."
