"I am giving a shout out to the staff at the property. My TV does work and a staff member from the conference center came with me to try and fix it. Even though she was not able to resolve the issue, she made an effort. She left me some Norwegian chocolate with a note to apologize for the inconvenience. That’s excellent customer service, a pleasant surprise to me. Second, I used their VV bus application in the lobby to buy my shuttle ticket to the airport this morning. After the money was charged to my credit card, I was expecting a ticket to come out of the machine. To my surprise, it asked me to scan to download the ticket to my phone or type in my email address to get it. By then, the screen already disappeared and I was not able to get my ticket. I explained the situation to the front desk staff and they were so gracious to give me a ticket so I didn’t have to buy another one. The hotel is under renovation, so some dust and inconvenience is expected. I am very impressed with the excellent customer service the staff provided to make my stay a very pleasant experience despite some hiccups."

"We arrived into Oslo by train & were staying two nights. Flying out to Tallinn early, it was easier just to have the two nights at the airport rather than one in the city & one at the airport. Getting to the hotel was pretty easy. We took the train to the airport & then caught the hotel shuttle bus. As seniors, the train out was 128 NOK and the shuttle 160 NOK for the two of us. You are dropped right at the door. For those who are interested it is Stand 40 at the airport for the bus. On arrival check in was easy. The room was small but manageable. The bed comfortable, water hot and WiFi good. I miss not having tea and coffee in the room but it is available downstairs. Beware!!. My husband decided to have a beer after a long day of travel. He ordered without knowing the cost. It was 135 NOK which is virtually AUD20!!! This was for a 500ml glass. Outrageous. He queried it and was told they knew it was expensive but that's what the hotel charges. Needless to say he only had one. We had dinner in the restaurant which was quite good but again expensive by our standards. We ate out the second night. We had breakfast both mornings and it was a big advantage to have the breakfast service start at 0400 for early flights. It is not the full breakfast at that time but still plenty to choose from to start the day. It is a quiet area and we had a good sleep. The hotel is right at the end of the runway which was of interest to many. We would stay again but probably eat out in town."

Comfort Hotel Bergen Airport Terminal

"We didn't use any amenities so can't speak to that aspect. There is a Spar with hot and cold food (plus lots of groceries, of course) a 20 min walk away. It is only a six or seven minute walk from the front door of the hotel to actually being inside the terminal building and you aren't walking on/crossing any busy roads or parking lots. Bergen is quite a ways away so I wouldn't use this as a base to visit it, but as a place to sleep before an early flight it can't be beat. It seemed more reasonably priced than the Bergen hotels as well, probably for that reason."
