"This hotel is so far out of town that walking in to town isn’t really an option (at least a hour walk) and the buses only run every half hour.
As for the room itself, when you enter the bottom of the stairwell, you can turn on the light at the bottom but not the top. So you have to walk up into pitch black and use a flashlight to find the light switch at the top. The room barely cooled off, even with us blasting the AC units.
Other than that, the rooms were nice and the onsen had a very pretty...

"We had a very wonderful 4 nights stay in Beppu Nagomi , with the price that’s very reasonable Beppu Nagomi exceeds our expectations, first it’s so close to the Beppu station. , 4 mins walk if you get the short cut way , nice and unique restaurants and coffee shop close by, the whole
Place is very clean , large area complete with kitchen and dining area , comfortable beds , and the laundry inside the building is a plus , I highly recommend it to anyone going to Beppu "

"I enjoyed staying here, but there are some things that can be improved. The air filter in the bathroom had not been cleared in a really long time, if ever. No one has dusted behind the TV in quite some time. I stayed for two weeks, but was only given 1 role of toilet paper and a meager amount of dish soap. The lighting outside is very dim and I was worried about slipping when come back in the evening when it had rained. It would also be helpful to have instructions in English for the appliances....

"まず、上の階の歩く音が響いて、2時まで寝れなかった。騒音に敏感でなく、鈍い方だが響く感じの音で、綺麗な建物なのに台無し。
無人なので窓口もなく、我慢するしかなかったです。いや、寝るだけのホテルとして東横インかこちらかで悩んで、まあ家族だったのでこちらを予約していたのに。。完全に外れました。
2階か、1階でも静かな人かで当たり外れあるかと思うが、この値段で、寝れない可能性があるとなると、私としてはもう無理"
