"We booked a mountain view studio with a kitchenette for three nights. The photos on the website make the rooms look so much nicer than in person. The rooms are dated and, with just a little bit of investment, could be so much nicer... and could possibly live up to the 4 star rating. The view from the harbor view rooms is truly lovely. Our mountain view room had minimal mountain, but when I sat on the balcony with my morning coffee, I could see a bit of the bay. And the view from the lobby and reception area was great. Each morning, there was coffee, fruit, and banana bread, and one can sit there and look at the bay, the mountains, and the chickens! Or bring your coffee to the floating dock and enjoy the bay from there. The service was good, requests for a couple of things were quickly met, while a request for towels took a bit of time. The kitchenette was simply, but adequately, stocked. We were on the go during our stay on Oahu, so did not use the amenities, but would have loved to kayak on the calm waters. I would recommend this hotel, for the location and the views. Our expectations on a 'resort room' were higher than they should have been, but as long as you know, then you will not be disappointed. "10 stars out of 5!!!! I almost didn’t book this condo because of the mixed reviews and worried we’d have a bad experience. Boy, was I wrong! We stayed 7 days in October with 5 adults and absolutely loved it. The host was amazing! She was always responsive by text, answered right away, and provided clear check-in instructions and reasonable rules. Parking was no problem, even when returning late. I’d read about construction noise, but it was minimal and barely noticeable while we were out exploring. The location exceeded our expectations! The beach is just a minute or two away, surprisingly uncrowded, and felt almost private. Unlike busy Waikiki, it was peaceful, with mostly families around. Downtown Honolulu is about 50 minutes away, so renting a car is recommended, but many attractions are within driving distance. We chose this quieter area over Waikiki and were so glad we did. The price was fantastic! For Oahu, the condo offered incredible value for the ocean views, beach access, and peaceful setting. The condo was a good size for a party of 5, worked very well for our group. There are 3 beds: 2 sofa beds and 1 in a separate bedroom area, all comfortable. The AC kept us cool, and the washer and dryer were very convenient. Full working kitchen. Waking up to gorgeous sunrises, ocean sounds, and the sea breeze was unforgettable. Balcony view of ocean. Don’t let the mixed reviews scare you away! If you want a quiet getaway, beautiful views, beach access, and great value"
