Good Location Hotel

The hotel is very nice location and it's only take 5 min walking to Ao Nang beach, the first day when we check in the room had no hot water to shower, but it got fix very quickly, also the room that we stay has a lot of mosquitos, my friend got a lot of bits on his legs

The room didn't have a microwave which I felt was odd and inconvenient. There was no way to reheat my leftovers. A microwave doesn't cost much and would go a long way as an added feature.

Great location, 5-min walk to Ao Nang beach. 7-11 downstairs. Friendly staff. Money exchange outside the lobby had the best rate. Some of the best restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with varieties. Swimming pool was clean and large. This hotel was by far the best we stayed in this trip (Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi). We will stay here again.

Two night stay in Ao Nang.

This was only a 2 night stay before staying with my new Thai family. Checkin was quick and efficient. The receptionist was polite and informative. The hotel was very clean together with my room. Internet was strong and consistent. The hotel has a small pool area and a small gym. Only negative thing was my room faced onto the main road. The sound of mopeds travelling under harsh acceleration woke me up a few times but this is totally outside the control of the hotel. Otherwise a very enjoyable two days.

Wir waren vom 27.02.25 - 07.03.25 in diesem Hotel. Es war so schön dort, das wir nach unserem Wochenende auf Koh Phi Phi wieder zum Ava Sea Resort zurückgekehrt sind. Diese Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön und unglaublich gut. Das Personal nimmt dich sehr angenehm in Empfang und hilft dir bei all deinen Angelegenheiten weiter. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und kann mit viel Komfort glänzen. Das Ava Sea Resort befindet sich im zentralen Punkt von Ao Nang und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der 7 Eleven und eine Wechselstube sind direkt vor der Tür. Um Touren vor Ort zu buchen, haben wir immer die nette Dame im Hotel gefragt die in der Nähe der Rezeption sitzt. Sie ist sehr nett, bietet sehr tolle Touren und möchte immer das wir eine gute Tour hatten. Wenn wir wieder nach Krabi (Ao Nang) kommen ist es sicher das wir wieder zu Ava Sea Resort zurückkommen.

Schon in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, offensichtliche kaputte Dinge wurden erst auf Nachfrage repariert/ instandgesetz. Waschbecken im Badezimmer hatte nur einen Kaltwasser Anschluss, somit kein warmes Wasser am Waschbecken, geht garnicht für den Preis des Zimmers.

My stay at the Ava Sea Resort was great. I had a room on the 5th floor. The view was unbelievable. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Excursions were easy to book. It was close to the beach and all the amenities were close by. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was not accommodating at all. Gave us a hard time about towels🙄 it’s a beach hotel with a pool. They guard the towels like national security. We were fine with the sign out process but they wouldn’t give any extra towels for the room. It was actually extremely annoying

Not enough help

I’m sure the staff tried but poor English caused some confusion. Given wrong internet password. Rushed through check in and check out. Temperature control in room did not adjust properly. AC was either too cold or off completely. Breakfast not worth the €13. Front desk wouldn’t call a taxi and had to go to tour desk, pay a mark-up and wait half and hour.
