"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Valamar Tirena! The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special, especially arranging a surprise birthday cake and balloons for my wife. Everything was organised perfectly and made her birthday even more memorable. Maro World was a fantastic bonus for the kids, who absolutely loved it! A wonderful family-friendly hotel with excellent service. We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely return!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall and would return! The location was excellent and the beach was lovely. There were a few things that were a bit off, such as the hotel turning off air conditioning for the season (October stay) which made the room unpleasantly warm (25 degrees) at night and the piano bar not having anyone play the piano because it was the off season. Our room was lovely and the balcony was fabulous."

"Great Location, Brilliant Staff and a Lovely Stay We had a lovely stay at Hotel Komodor in Dubrovnik. Although the room was slightly outdated, the staff were absolutely brilliant, always helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, with a bus stop nearby making it easy to get to Dubrovnik Old Town. Lapad is a lovely area, with a whole street full of restaurants and cafés, so there are plenty of places to eat and enjoy the local atmosphere. The annex building is more modern, although it’s worth noting that there is no lift, which may be a consideration for some guests. Overall, a great base for exploring Dubrovnik, with a fantastic location and excellent staff. We would recommend it!"

"This was one of the highlights of our trip! The property was stunning! Enisa, the concierge, made everything absolutely perfect! She was super communicative and helped me get everything arranged from the bottle of champagne for the room upon arrival to our yachting excursion. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends!"
Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel

"Temperature is 21 degrees Celsius here and the hotel has “closed” their beach. There are young children and adults still trying to swim in the sea while the beach is not clean or maintained and all loungers removed. I asked about this and was simply told it’s closed and to put my towel on the rocks… I was surprised to hear this. Stuff could easily move some loungers there for guests wanting to use the beach- and there are many. Locals are still swimming this week as well- October. The outdoor pool has leaves throughout and most of the pool loungers have been removed. It’s an unwelcoming site. No complaints regarding the inside of the hotel. It’s lovely. Rooms are large. Our sea view rooms have large open views of the sea. Lovely. Hotel is 15 min drive from old city walls. This is a great hotel to get away from the historic charm and get to a peaceful sea bay."
