Beautiful location and wonderful staff especially the two bar men :)) the pool had the most wonderful view but the room was very dated the hairdryer was broken etc. could do with some reinvestment but would stay again due to the location, staff and vibe at the hotel

Good location in La Pad. Building is dated. Not always hot water. Nice pool. Near beach and great dining. Rooms pretty basic but decent value. Great Breakfast.

A little gem the staff were all very friendly and helpful my stay was changed to The Vis as the The Komodor was under some building work but the only down side was the weather but other wise I had a very enjoyable stay

The property had a lot of charm and was of a good scale - not too big but not too small. The seaview room was great with plenty of space to relax on the balcony. Breakfast buffet had everything we needed. The immediate area was quiet so no problems with noise at all. It was also near enough to a street containing a good selection of restaurants and bars. The bus stop to the Pile Gate is literally just around the corner, so very easy access to the Old Town. The bathroom was extremely small, so bear this in mind if you need the space. Otherwise, a good value, well situated hotel.

Location is the best

The thing we appreciated the most about this hotel is the location. Very close to the beach and swimming area and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. Pretty close to the Lapad harbor as well where a lot of boat adventure departures from. The beach is free for all-concept. No annoying salesman that is forcing you to rent the chairs. No one selling watches or bracelets in the beach. It felt very welcoming and genuine. The rooms are well maintained but they are outdated. The bed was the biggest complaint from us. Not comfortable at all. Also no refrigerator in a country like Croatia is weird to me. For restaurants I’d like to recommend Vito Napoletana for pizza, Fingerlickers for fried seafood, and if you’re in Old town you should look up Food Bar Guloso that makes really good burgers.

Handy for access to the sea. The dinner buffet at the hotel is handy. And the breakfast was pretty good The challenge is just that the hotel is abit old and need a facelift in general. Bed are still comfy and generally clean

Nice hotel on the beach

Wonderful location 200 metres from the beach. Nice little pool as well. Hotel was very clean and personnel very friendly. In front of the hotel very good sunset beach. In walking distance nice shops and restaurants.

It is a very nice hotel. A little worn. Very polite reception, waiters and cleaning ladies. Close to the beach. It would be Nice with available lunch in the bar. And it would be Nice if you could choose not to change Towels every day for the climate.

Very good hotel.

Great location with small beach nearby and pool onsite. Bus to city is very close and breakfast is very good. Rooms are good but a small fridge would be a nice addition. If you have bags this is a great option. The old city is a nightmare if you have bags.

Very close to the beach! The morning staff/afternoon were very kind and helpful. The room was not the same as advertised, but our room was very clean and had a good ac. Not in the main building, so no elevator (was traveling with my senior mom, not ideal but we made it work). Staff carried our luggage when we checked in. Close to the bus stop to the old city (number 4). Fine dining options were in walking distance as well as a convenience store.

ROOM SO outdated and DEPRESSING… ROOM SO outdated

Since arrival to DBV airport expect to be late we desired to take hotels offer even it sound extreme expensive for a short 30 min taxi ride (EUR 42,00 for 1-3 people). Mail to hotel April 13 and NO RESPONS – tried again May 11 and again NO RESPONS AND FINALLY THE DAY OF ARRIVAL TO HOTEL (May 13, 2025, 1:22 PM) SENT A MAIL AND GOT ANSWER May 13, 2025, 1:34 PM …so after stressfully days it was time to relax and looking forward to 4 great days in a great city. Arrival to hotel after 30 min Hotel and what a sad welcome – First impression very important – Reception very unfriendly person and when the guy pick a key (absolute old style) 216 try this…..later next day change to room with our 1 * Room not an update since 80 (except now free WIFI) – so much disappointing with a room for absolute nothing Extrema old tiny style No kettle (can get it if you ask) NO AMENITIES (like coffee-tea-sucker cream) No bottle water NO BATHROOM (extremely TINY TINY ROOM) NO BED (extreme tiny- if you make a turn you hit the floor or the wall) NO SAFE BOX NO TOWEL OH YES But seem used since who know when ? ROOM extreme tiny and very old fashion – seems no update since “80 yes it seems folks there do not know we live in 2025 …Room has almost NOTHING -one chair EXSTREMA TINY TOILET AND SHOWER ROOM Balcony with plastic chair-and one tiny plastic table The selling point for our room was the VIEW (which no doubt was amazing) ad gives our * 1 star.

No Balcony

A fridge and a terrace/balcony was two of the more important fetures when searching for a holiday-hotel. Very happy when we found a hotel with "room type photos"contaning both. After arriving at the hotel, no terrace was present. Approching both Hotels.com and the reception, we are told that we booked the roomtype without a terrace, and that the "room specific pictures" was generic for all rooms. We had booked "backyard view" and was told terrace was for "sea view" rooms only. Staff (which was most helpfull all the stay!) kindly allowed us to change room type to sea view halfway through the stay. We were VERY surprised to find out the "sea view room" we've now moved to also had no balcony. The room was notably larger so still an upgrade. Apart from the disappointment with the room, we were happy with the hotel, only minor inconvimoemce were opening hours for the pool, 0900 - 20.00. Location for the hotel was great.
