"We really enjoyed this small hotel complex. Very family feel and very welcoming. The location is great as directly on the beach for sunset cocktails. The trees grow virtually on the water's edge and the branches fall close to the ground giving the beach a feel of compartments of privacy. The walk into town in the evenings isn't particularly well lit but other than this a very nice place to stay and would certainly return. "

"The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is nice and updated. The breakfast, which is included, has a nice buffet and menu. The location is great - especially if you’re going to a full moon party. There’s also a nice gym connected to the hotel. The facilities are being updated, so there’s construction and it’s family friendly, so be ready for kids in the pool. All in all, we had a nice time."

"Very close to the port. Don’t waste your money on a shared taxi. We got stuck paying $400 Baht and we were the last stop only to find out the hotel is 1km from the ferry port. Not a bad looking hotel however the rooms need UPDATING. Our mattress was a plastic/rubber spring bed with just a sheet over it. Worst sleeping experience and unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Maybe expect that in a $5 hostel. The shower/ bathroom is all in one. While showering, the whole bathroom gets soaked. Not...

"We booked Aaliyah garden resort a week before travelling after a cancellation from Expedia for our original hotel! As accommodation during full moon gets booked up so far in advance, we just booked whatever we could find. We were a little apprehensive but on arrival all that changed. The bungalows are so cute, yes they are basic but have everything you need - including little toiletries in the shower! The best thing about staying here is definitely the staff, Aaliyah - the lady that owns it...
