"Nice enough hotel in a very good location for all public transport links. Good size restaurant so no queueing for breakfast which was plentiful and well laid out. There’s a hospital nearby so sirens are regular if you are the street side. There’s no AC so sleeping with the window option comes with consequences. The quilt we had smelled and had stains on it but given how warm it was we only used the quilt cover anyway."

"Very well located for my purposes, near St Pancras and the British Museum, easy to walk down to Trafalgar Square etc. The super studio was big, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff helpful. Lovely quiet area, a big green square across the street with trees and tennis courts. Relatively low priced for London and for the size and quality of the room."

"There were Pubs, cafes, fast food restaurants, a small grocery/convenience store and other amenities close to this hotel. Kings Cross/ St Pancras Station for all modes of transportation was a 5 minute walk away. Our hotel room was very quiet, clean, comfortable and had air conditioning. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I liked that this property had a 24 hour front desk. I would certainly book this hotel again. "

"Stayed here for a visit to theatre on strand and good walking distance to this and many other central locations including british museum and Euston station. Great place to eat about 100 yards down the street with amazing value and quality. Staff within hotel were helpful with filling water, advising where to go, assistance with check in, and we awere able to leave luggage before check in tome and afterncheck out to avoid taking around with us. Although some decor is a little dated as they make clear, room was spacious enough, warm and clean with fan provided in very hot period. Separate bathroom down stairs with no lift but if this isnt a problem then it is a decent size with generous shower, tea and coffee downstairs is good and on a quiet street "

"The Elmwood is close to Kings Cross Station and 5 minutes from Euston too, which is convenient. The single bed room (No.3S) was ideal for my one night stay, with comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom & shower. It is on basement level. There a TV on the wall and Tea making facility. Even though a little renovation could tidy the bathroom (crack in sink and corrosion of tap) it was good value and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, there was a bit of floor board thumping and squeaking this morning at 6am, as people walked on the floor above ! But despite that, I am going back again in November."
