"Great stay, last minute stay over, reasonable price and great location. We had a great sized room , the building is quite old so yes its uneven in places , but its the character of the building Great bar, wonderful outside area ( sun trap) and we had a great breakfast, full english. Ate later on in the evening but again food was really good"

"Booked for 2adults and 1 child (10) arrived and was told the room booked was not suitable and had to pay more for a bigger room 1st impression was good however the smell of sewage or drain from the bathroom was nearly unbearable and too top it off we had a early start so got up at 0630 and not a drop of hot water from the shower or sink so cold strip wash it was Very disappointed for the price Room 10 "

"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect privacy. They welcomed me with a bowl of biscuits and fruit when I first arrived and on my departure asked if there was anything they could do to better. I could not think of a single thing to improve my experience."
