"The building area (lobby, pool area, …) is outdated. Our room with garden view is clean, spacious but outdated. No chair service at the beach. The restaurant for breakfast is very busy and noisy with Korean guests. The food at breakfast is only 2* and is not fresh, not comparable with other 5* resort. Coffee is terrible! In overall we rate the outdated Intercontinental resort in Phu Quoc as 4*- or 3*+, but does not by far deserve 5*. The staff (front desk, room service) is very helpful though."

"If you're from North America you are probably like us and were questioning how a Beat Western is a 5 star hotel. But this hotel was great. Very good value for your money. Had an amazing stay here. Everything so comfortable and clean and safe feeling. The lazy river pool was so nice to float around in the early evening. While it's not the most convenient location the hotel makes up for it in spades. If you're ok with taking a taxi/grab around the city then I highly recommend this place. "

"Clean nice stay. Big beautiful villa. All the Staff are very friendly. Very windy in December with the wind blowing all day to include at night making it hard to sleep. My son enjoyed the kids zone. The sunset beach was disappointing as there is no public bathroom available and we continually found pieces of glass in the sand. The water was cloudy, not like the photos. "
