Compared to Da Nang, Phu Quoc's food in not delicious and expensive. It was nice that Novotel swimming pool water was warm and I could play late at night. It was nice to have a night market near Novotel.

Lovely nature, flowers, trees, plants everywhere, felt like a real village around the hotel. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel, low key, but professional and great food. We loved the breakfast, great service, honest. Great looks, training facilities, but missed Aqua gym and other classes, but out of season probably.

Great retreat

Amazing grounds and rooms. We stayed in a bungalow with beautiful views of the beach and own private pool. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Own room was very clean and well maintained. Thank you for a great stay.

We booked a room for 3 people but when we arrived the room had only 2 twin beds. The people at reception were not very helpful.the hotel seemed nice but the options are limited and required transportation to go to other places. The beach was not very well, we found a lot of garbage on the beach and the water was not very clean so we opted to get a car to go to other beaches around the island that were transparent and clean. Unfortunately I would choose this hotel again. On the positive side, the breakfast had a lot of options to choose from.

Very much style over substance. All pools were freezing cold, not enough sunbeds, beach could be better maintained and utilized like the Sonasea Beach bar which I would prefer. The bar staff and pool bar staff were very friendly and attentive but the reception were surly and almost rude on check in and never friendly when asking them anything, was like a chore. Also at breakfast they cleared my plates 5 times when it was evident it hadn’t been left and I’d just gone to get food, I left my cap and other items but they still cleared and threw away food that was not perfectly fine and tea I’d just made, so was annoying. They upgraded me to a room with a huge bed but for 1 person it was impractical and not required, if their level of English was better it may not be an issue but it was lacking. Overall disappointed by the place
