Hotels near Kidspace Childrens Museum

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice, remodeled sometime fairly recently. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom shampoo/conditioner/soap were very nice. The pool was beautiful and the workout room good. Lobby a teeny bit shabby but otherwise very nice and the fountain outside with chairs to sit near was lovely. Downside - they need SERIOUS SOUND BAFFLING. You can hear every person walking/talking in the hallway outside the room like they're IN your room. Also, the towels - not great. They need to throw out old towels - thin, thready and poor. Strangely, we had one newer bath towel and one old one and the difference was HUGE! Lastly, would be nice if the bar stayed open past 9:30p. That's very early. Overall, though, a very nice place to stay and the location is super!"

"This hotel is well located but it is quite long in the tooth and does reflect the wear and tear of being connected to a convention center. We stayed for 4 nights in a very dark room on the 2 nd floor. There were two nights when the room above us was quite noisy, the AC system was loud and not terribly efficient but it was the awful smell in the lobby that made me wonder if anyone is actually paying attention to the air circulating system in this place. It was a sewer type smell and believe me you couldn’t avoid it anytime you walked by the front desk. They had a blower going the whole time we were there. The hotel has brighter floors, perhaps even fresher feeling rooms, but we were not in that circumstance during our stay. Again, I found the staff to be friendly but the overall ambience was definitely off-putting considering the price we paid for our stay."

"This is an older property that has been remodeled. I liked it a lot. I thought it was clean. I appreciated NOT having carpet in the rooms. There was a pool, but I did not use it. It looked nice. Parking felt a little tight, but we always had a parking spot (we drive a Jeep Compass). I could not hear the traffic from the street which was nice. One night the neighbors above us were noisy, but other than that, we couldn't hear anyone else. Black out curtains were wonderful. Breakfast was nice, but I might've enjoyed a little more variety. But maybe it's just because we stayed for 5 nights. If we had only been there for one or two nights, it would've been great! Staff was friendly. The neighborhood seemed safe. Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes."

"The water in the shower barely got hot even with the temp handle turned all the way to hot. I also felt like it was weird not being taken care of by a front desk person. The virtual format was taking forever to process the people in front of me and I felt like it would have been easier and nicer to deal with an actual person "

"Our stay was a slice of heaven. This was our first visit to the hotel. The gardens were spectacular for strolling, the afternoon tea was top-notch, we enjoyed a delicious in-room breakfast on our anniversary but also enjoyed breakfasts by the pool on the other mornings. Our room with patio was spacious and quiet. "
