A nice property downtown next to Pasadena's Civic area (City Hall, Convention center, Jackie Robinson sculpture). Rooms are nice and clean and there's a nice large lobby area with a great bar and restaurant, although we didn't have their food. Easy parking by valet or by yourself ($19/night) that is accessed in the below ground garage. Room rates in early July were very reasonable.

I have stayed at Westins before and even at this location years ago. The room wasn’t what I remember to be Westin quality. The bed was not as comfortable as before- you can feel the springs. While the room was clean- you can feel and see how much the hotel has aged. For almost $500 a night you would think that everything would be updated and including the bed. When we got there to check in at 4:30 pm- they let us know our room was still not ready so the desk clerk looked for an out 10-15 mins. She was pleasant and kept apologizing for the inconvenience. The valet staff were awesome and so friendly. They took care of our car and honestly was the reason I gave my stay a 3 star.
