"A great stop over on the way to Cornwall A nice welcome on arrival and we found our booking upgraded to a larger room. A good selection of pies for dinner and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast. Fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a nice touch."

"Lovely welcome to the accommodation. Family room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was very tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay."

"Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!"

"Such a peaceful location and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The outdoor hot tub, the friendly doggy & the ducks & geese were wonderful too."

"This was our third visit to the Fisherman's Cot and the first time for an overnight stay. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices and very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and polite. We stayed in an annex which was OK but the outside fabric of the building is in need of renovation. Room was fine and clean, although bath panel was heavily water damaged. There is scope to improve decor (pictures on the wall for example) to give a more homely feel"

"Fabulous central location, comfortable room and great facilities, breakfast is worth the extra money."

"On site parking and excellent breakfast"

"Spacious with a substantial bar and dining room, centrally located, opposite Exeter Central station with train, bus and taxi connections to Exeter St David's."

"Friendly staff, good location. Very quiet hotel. We didn't hear anything from inside our room even with a full hotel. Breakfast was good and the location is very handy to both train stations and the city center"
