"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple. "Really good hotel, 8 minute walk from New Street Station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was great,2 double beds, really spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. Would defo stay here again."

"Had a fantastic stay in Birmingham at the Holiday inn express. We were visiting as a family of 3 to go to Warwick Castle, Sea Life, cadburys world and a few meals out in the city centre. Anyways the Hotel was fantastic, massive shout out to Elsa (on the bar) Shadara (so sorry if I’ve misspelt your name) and Uma at breakfast. These 3 are complete superstars. From great service upstairs at the bar reception really nice with my little girl, and the same at breakfast. Will come back again due to the great service of these 3 epic ladies! Thanks again! "Overall I was satisfied with my one night stay at the Radisson Blu Birmingham. The check-in staff were friendly and efficient and the room was of good quality. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff attentive. Despite its very modern exterior appearance the property is beginning to show its age. The bathroom floor tiles were clean, but needed polishing or replacing. There were no convenient electrical sockets, meaning having to leave charging items on the floor. The USB sockets were loose. There are no windows that open, and the heating / air system only goes down to 19°C. There is no cooling function, meaning the room is warm and stuffy. I imagine this would be very uncomfortable in summer."
